Advertising disclosure
There is currently no advertising, sponsorship or affiliate arrangement on this site.
Stated plainly because the alternative, a disclosure page describing arrangements that do not exist, is its own kind of dishonesty. As of 18 August 2026 this site carries no ads, no sponsored content, no affiliate links and no paid placements.
If that changes
Advertising or affiliate relationships may be introduced later. If they are, three commitments apply.
1. It will be labelled
Advertising will be visually distinct from content. Sponsored content, if any is ever published, will say so at the top rather than in a footnote. Affiliate links will be disclosed on the page carrying them.
2. It will not touch the calculations
No commercial arrangement will change a formula, a tax figure, an assumption or a default. The engine and its sources are the same for everyone and answer only to the law.
3. It will not change the conclusions
We will not recommend a product because someone paid us to, and we will not soften an explanation to suit an advertiser. If a commercial arrangement ever conflicted with an accurate explanation, the explanation stays.
Why this matters here specifically
Salary and tax tools are a natural funnel for financial products, insurance, tax-saving investments, loans. A calculator that quietly steers people toward whatever pays it the most commission is worse than useless, because the steering is invisible and the reader thinks they are getting arithmetic.
If this site ever earns money, it will be in a way you can see.
Cookies and tracking
No advertising or analytics scripts are loaded, so there are no advertising cookies to consent to. If that changes, the cookie policy and privacy policy will be updated first, and an appropriate consent mechanism added.
